Neapolitan Marshmallows

Pretty cute right? well they're not that simple to make but they are definetly worth the time. It took me 2 hours, I burnt my finger and I left my kitchen messy but I still think that they are one of the best things I've ever made.

- 2 1/2 tablespoons of grenetin
- 1 c. of corn syrup
- 1 1/2 c. of sugar
- 1 c. of water

1. In a large bowl dissolve grenetin with 1/2 c. of water. In a medium pot combine sugar, 1/2 c. of water and corn syrup, cook on low heat until sugar dissolves and then let it boil until it reaches 240°F.

2. Beat grenetin and add sugar mixture slowly, continue beating on high speed until it becomes white and fluffy. Take 2/3 of the mixture and put it in another bowl. Beat in 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder to the remaining mixture and pour it in a pan.

Cover with 1/3 of white mixture. Beat in 2 tablespoons of Nesquick strawberry powder to the remaining mixture and pour it in the pan. (at this point it will be really sticky so you need to make it fast) Put it uncovered in the fridge for at least 8 hours.

Dust knife with powdered sugar and slice it

Cover them with powdered sugar and they are ready to eat

Tip: Grease the pan with butter and dust it with powdered sugar, while slicing marshmallows you will need to dust the surface in which you are working with powdered sugar otherwise it will stick.
