I never get tired of making cake balls, everybody loves them and I am always trying new decorations, flavors and fillings. You can find the basics on how to make them in here but before you cover them with chocolate fill them with frosting. This time I filled them with chocolate frosting which I made by beating 1 stick of butter until fluffy, 2 c. of powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and 1/4 c. of buttermilk.
For the decoration I covered them with melted red chocolate, sprinkled sugar and I also put them a small heart, you can use any decoration you want.
I also made them with bittersweet chocolate and covered them with red sugar and hearts
You will have this surprise when you bite them, they are delicious bite size desserts or even perfect for giveaways.
