I honestly think that the best thing besides vanilla is cinnamon, not only it makes everything taste like home it also leaves you wanting more and I don't know about you but I always want to have a glass of milk as if I were a kid
- 500 gr of flour
- 150 gr. of sugar
- 15 gr. of dry active yeast
- 3 eggs
- 2 egg yolks
- 200 gr. of unsalted butter
- 100 gr. of shortening
- 3 teaspoons of b. powder
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1. In a medium bowl combine flour, baking powder and cinnamon. Mix yeast with warm water and set aside. Beat butter and shortening until light and fluffy, add sugar and eggs one at a time, stir in vanilla and yeast.
2. Beat in flour and mix until combined, refrigerate dough for 30 minutes. Roll dough and cut small rectangles, put them in a prepared pan.
