Snickerdoodles

I've been trying to make more cookies since I often have visitors and it is nice to offer them with a cup of tea, I must say that I'd never made nor tried snickerdoodles before but I was amazed about how good they were, of course cinnamon never dissapoints me

- 1 1/3 c. of flour
- 1 stick of unsalted butter
-  1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 c. of sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla

1. Sift flour and baking powder. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy, add eggs one at a time and vanilla, beat in flour mixture. Cover dough and refrigerate for 1 hour.

2. Combine 1/2 c. of sugar and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon. Make small balls of about 1 inch and roll them in sugar mixture. Bake them at 400°F for about 10 minutes
