Fisrt of all Happy 4th of July to all the americans they always know how to celebrate! I didn't had the time to make a simbolic dessert but I did made some waffles which are always great to start the day, perfectly combined with jam and fresh fruit... or nutella and ice cream?
- 1 1/2 c. of flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. of milk
- 1/4 c. of melted butter
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
1. Combine flour, cinnamon and baking powder. Mix egg yolks with milk, butter and vanilla.
2. In another bowl beat egg whites until peaks form and carefully combine both mixtures. Pour mixture into a waffle iron and cook until golden brown.
Top with fresh fruit, jam, nutella or whatever you like |
